Jogiyar Mahabharat was conceived as an effort to revive the ages old tradition of Pandun Ke Kadde,  a form of musical narrative story telling of Mahabharata by the Jogi-Meo community of Eastern-Rajasthan. The show is a first experiments of its own kind which involves singing from three different music traditions; The Jogi-Meo, the Manganiyars and the Jogi-Naaths and present an ensemble of some rare compositions by these communities.

Opened at Melange theatre festival in BITS Pilani In 2016, the show has been part of Rajasthani language Theatre Festival – Rajasthan Sangeet Natak Akademi, Deshaj Festival-SNA Delhi and will perform for 8th Theatre Olympic- NSD New Delhi in February-March 2018. 


Dinesh conceived this famous political satire by Harold Pinter as a site-based performance and set the play into a wheat-warehouse when first opened it at Lok-Kala Mandal Udaipur. Pinter’s two characters were interpreted as two soldiers and director put them together into a claustrophobic physical as well as psychological environment of a ‘basement’. The play runs on several levels and create moments of lighter laugher as well as intense tension.

Pagadi Project: is conceived and created as a site-based installation performance on the tradition of turban tying in India. It’s a 360 degree project on turbans spanning from performance to photographic exhibition, installation, book and a film. First opened in national theatre festival ‘Bharat Rang Mahotsav’ in 2013 Pagadi Project was also part of World Stage Design 2013 at Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, Cardiff UK.
